Ethics for Prevention Professionals Series: Ethics Across the Strategic Prevention Framework

Ethics Across the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) builds on fundamental ethics concepts for prevention professionals. This virtual training will present ethical situations coalitions may encounter throughout each step of the SPF. Participants will also learn how to apply ethical principles across the twelve community sectors and use interactive scenarios to bring life factors that affect decision-making.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Define ethics and related key terms

  2. Application of the six principles from the Prevention Code of Ethics to the SPF as well as community sectors

  3. Use a process to resolve ethical dilemmas
