Participants will also learn how to apply ethical principles across the twelve community sectors and use interactive scenarios to bring life factors that affect decision-making.

Define ethics and related key terms
Application of the six principles from the Prevention Code of Ethics to the SPF as well as community sectors
Use a process to resolve ethical dilemmas

This two-hour virtual training will provide a historical overview of the development of ethical principles, a review of the prevention specialist code of ethics, guidance from evaluators on maneuvering through ethical dilemmas while collecting data, and opportunities to apply ethical principles in the process of data collection.
