How to Make Gambling Prevention a Priority

This 2 hour virtual training will include the overview of gambling, features in games that resemble gambling, defining problem gambling, Connecticut prevalence, gambling prevention resources and information on the Regional Gambling Awareness Teams. 

Learning Objectives:  

1. Identify gambling specific prevention strategies

2.  Analyze and discuss gambling related ethical situations to determine best practices for prevention professionals 

3. Describe a model for gambling integration within mental health, substance use and recovery-based organizations that can be used in prevention and treatment
