The learning objectives of this 2-hour In-Person training include:

1. Becoming familiar with the General Assembly Website and Daily Events

2. Gain knowledge of the various legislative committees and public hearing process

3. Learn the difference between advocacy and lobbying

4. Learn how to testify on a bill in person and in writing

5. Learn how to track bills and search statutes

6. How to contact legislators

 This training will be capped at 40 participants.

You must have a laptop or other device to participate in the workshop.
