Overdose prevention cannot rest with one department or organization. Learn how all your community partners can operate as one local response. This training provides a roadmap for local decision making and coordination by examining local readiness, clarifying roles, and selecting strategies to align current programs, resources, community expertise, and available funding around shared priorities and measurable results.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

– Understand opioid and stimulant facts, trends, and the evolving drug supply
– Explore key data sources and how communities use data to guide local decisions
– Leverage Opioid Settlement Funds using the municipal workbook for planning and decision making
– Apply evidence-based prevention strategies across municipal departments, schools, youth-serving organizations, and families
– Build coordinated, community-wide prevention and response systems
– Learn how to access and make the best use of the full Municipal Toolkit’s tools and resources

This training is eligible for up to 5 CEUs upon completion.
