Clinton Students Honored by Sen Murphy

Morgan students and REACT members Kayla Pellegrini and Natalie Buchetto were honored by US Senator Chris Murphy on July 14, 2017 in Clinton CT.  Senator Murphy was in Clinton hosting a community breakfast and took the time to recognize Kayla and Natalie for their efforts in drug and alcohol abuse prevention.  As officers for Clinton’s youth leadership group, REACT, Kayla and Natalie both spoke at CT’s legislative public hearing to legalize recreational marijuana use, implemented a marijuana fact campaign at their school, led a peer to peer workshop at the LEAD conference on mental health and stress management, and have been tremendous role models for a substance free lifestyle in Clinton.  Clinton and Morgan share Senator Murphy’s pride in these two young ladies and their accomplishments.
