National Prevention Network Conference
2019 Scholarship Application

The Prevention Training and Technical Assistance Service Center, in collaboration with the Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services (DMHAS), provides a limited number of partial scholarships for prevention professionals attending the National Prevention Network Conference on August 27-29, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois.

Priority is given to staff of DMHAS funded prevention programs who have never attended the NPN conference or not attended in the last two years.
Five scholarships of up to $1,000 are available and will be applied to the $750 conference early bird registration fee with the remaining $250 towards travel costs. Travel costs are estimated at $1,100 - $1,200 for three nights lodging at the conference hotel, the Hilton Chicago, airfare and ground transportation. The applicant will be responsible for travel costs beyond the $250 portion of the scholarship designated for travel and for meal costs beyond what is included with the conference.
Scholarship recipients are expected to attend all three days of the conference and will be required to share conference learning of particular interest to them via either a presentation or in writing with other prevention professionals.
