Strategic Prevention Framework SPF 101 Training
The Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) 101 training presents an overview of the public health planning tool used by coalitions to identify priority substances and evidence based prevention strategies. Participants will gain knowledge of the five steps - Assessment, Capacity Building, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation, and the tasks involved for each of these steps. Participants will also learn how the two guiding principles, cultural competency and sustainability, are applied in each of the steps to meet the needs of local populations and maintain prevention results.
