Learn how all your community partners can operate as one local response. This training provides a roadmap for local decision making and coordination by examining local readiness\, clarifying roles\, and selecting strategies to align current programs\, resources\, community expertise\, and available funding around shared priorities and measurable results. \nBy the end of this training\, participants will be able to: \n– Understand opioid and stimulant facts\, trends\, and the evolving drug supply\n– Explore key data sources and how communities use data to guide local decisions\n– Leverage Opioid Settlement Funds using the municipal workbook for planning and decision making\n– Apply evidence-based prevention strategies across municipal departments\, schools\, youth-serving organizations\, and families\n– Build coordinated\, community-wide prevention and response systems\n– Learn how to access and make the best use of the full Municipal Toolkit’s tools and resources \nThis training is eligible for up to 5 CEUs upon completion. \nQuestions? DESCRIPTION:Please register below to attend this virtual event! Once we’ve received your RSVP\, you will receive an email confirmation with the Zoom Link. \nDescription: This one-hour virtual training will guide municipal leaders\, prevention coalitions\, and local departments through a process to help your municipality leverage opioid settlement funds by establishing a whole-of-government approach and building upon existing resources and strategies to establish coordinated services\, decision making\, progress monitoring\, and improved outcomes for healthier communities. \nThis training is for those who either attended the October 15\, 2026 State Opioid Response Training and Municipal Toolkit\, or have read the associated materials on the TTASC website from that training. \nLearning Objectives:\n-Understand the unique role of municipal leadership in setting direction and empowering action\n– Review a leadership structure on opioid settlement funds\n– Apply a supply and demand framework\n– Review a crosswalk of opioid settlement fuds by municipal department\n– Identify existing resources\, needs\, and gaps\n– Establish a process to authorize work and expenditures\n– Select and implement effective strategies tailored to local needs and risks\n– Receive a sample short and long term action plan template\n– Monitor and evaluate progress\n– Access additional planning resources \nThis training is eligible for up to 1 CEU upon completion. \nQuestions?
