Engaging Youth in Prevention Efforts
This interactive half-day training will be run by youths for adults who either work with young people, or are hoping to engage young people in their programs. These student leaders will walk participants through creating opportunities for youth to flourish, how to engage youths with purpose, and how to sustain youth-driven efforts in their community. Youth are so influential in creating change not only among their peer group, but within the state and community, come learn how to fully engage this sector to create a long lasting difference within your programs, and to be a part of empowering young people to find their passion.

1. Participants discover how to involve youth in all aspects of your community prevention efforts.
2. Participants will learn ways to create opportunities for youth leadership in the community.
3. Participants will learn tools for recruiting and retaining youth leaders within your programs.
